Russia Muftis Council (RMC) is a centralized religious organization created in 1996 which unites Russian religious Muslim associations.
Activities:

Consolidation of Muslim religious organizations in Russia aimed to find joint solution for problems related to the whole Russian Muslim community;

Coordination and mutual assistance to the activity of its constituent organizations;

Elaboration of a joint position in relations with public authorities at the federal and local levels, organizations representing other confessions, international and foreign organizations.

Economic Department of RMC
Economic Department of RMC is aimed to create, develop and maintain an effective system of social and economic life of Muslims and Muslim organizations in Russia. The department cooperates closely with the experts in the field of Islamic economics and finance.
The Department is one of the initiators of the creation of the Russian Expert Association in Islamic Financing, which is a platform for sharing experience and information, development of programs and regulations, holding seminars, conferences, courses in Islamic business ethics, zakat, Waqf, banking, insurance, wealth management, investments, etc.
The Department facilitates the cooperation of foreign businessmen with Russian entrepreneurs and Muslim organizations; it maintains and constantly updates an extensive database of projects aimed at meeting the needs of Muslims. The primary task of the Department in this area is to unite the interests of potential investors and entrepreneurs.
In this regard, the Department organizes annual Moscow International Halal Exhibition where along with the exhibition process, the Business Program is hold which includes Islamic Business Forum and Halal Forum.
